'About damn time': EU parliament president on plans to raise European military spending

European parliament president Roberta Metsola has said it is 'about damn time' that European countries began making plans to increase defence spending and support for Ukraine ahead of a meeting of European heads of state in the wake of the Trump administration's signalling that it will withdraw aid for Ukraine and Europe.
