Ali Larijani confirmed dead: Iranian security chief killed in Israeli strike

Iranian state media have announced that the country’s security chief, Ali Larijani, is dead, hours after the Israeli military said he was killed in a dawn strike on Tuesday. Also killed in the same attack was Gholamreza Soleimani, the commander of Iran’s Internal Security Force, known as the Basij. Al Jazeera’s Resul Serdar reports.
