The two-day APEC summit in South Korea has wrapped up with President Lee Jae Myung handing over hosting duties to China. Chinese President Xi Jinping has announced the southern city of Shenzhen as the site for next year's summit. Asia-Pacific leaders signed off on a document promising to tackle issues related to artificial intelligence and demographic changes. Xi Jinping has proposed the establishment of a World AI Cooperation Organization. The APEC summit has been dominated by US President Donald Trump, even though he wasn’t there for the main sessions, choosing to leave early.
