Attacks across Iraq: Home of Kurdistan regional government's president hit

Multiple attacks have struck targets across Iraq, including the headquarters of the Popular Mobilisation Forces in the north and the residence of the Kurdistan regional government's president in Erbil. Several explosions were also reported in Duhok, in Iraq's Kurdish region, and a stray drone landed in a commercial district of Baghdad. Iraqi air defence systems were activated as attacks targeted the US embassy in Baghdad and the US consulate and air base in Erbil. Security checkpoints have been deployed amid growing fears that Iraq is being drawn into a wider conflict. Al Jazeera's Nicholas Haque reports from Baghdad.
