Benjamin Netanyahu 'believes he is winning the war', says Lord Richard Dannatt

Israel's prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu believes he is winning the war in the Middle East, and is ignoring calls from the US to show restraint, former chief of the general staff Lord Richard Dannatt has said. He told Sky's Kay Burley the attacks in Lebanon over the weekend show that the Israeli prime minister thinks he can "press on" with the conflict. "A ground invasion is increasingly threatened." he added.
