BREAKING: US confirms American fighter jet shot down over Iran | DW News

US officials have confirmed that an American fighter jet has been shot down over Iran. The warplane was reportedly came down in a southwestern province of Iran. Images of wreckage released by Iran suggest the fighter is an F-15, a two seater aircraft. Iran has deployed troops to the region and offered a reward for anyone capturing the crew. This social media video is said to show the US search and rescue operation currently underway.
