Blind river dolphins once thrived in Asia's Indus River all the way upstream to the foothills of the Himalayas. But their numbers have dwindled over the years, due to human activity along the watercourse. Conservationists in Pakistan are now stepping up efforts to help save the endangered species, confined to only a small stretch of the lower Indus River.
