China war games: Beijing naval forces surround Taiwan

China has been accused of circling Taiwan in large-scale naval and air force exercises. Taiwan says China's latest war games are blatant provocations that seriously undermine regional peace and stability. It has been warning of an increase in Chinese military activity over the past five years. Beijing views the island as its own territory, a claim which Taiwan's government rejects.
