Talks at the COP29 climate conference in Baku, Azerbaijan are deadlocked, two days before the talks wrap up. The sticking point is funding to help poor countries address the impacts of climate change. A new draft declaration has been released that includes two options - both suggesting around one trillion dollars per year. However, rich and developing countries remain far apart in terms of the exact amount needed and where it will come from.
