Culture secretary rejects claims of 'weak' government response to US tariffs

Sky News spoke with Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy about the ongoing turmoil in global financial markets as Donald Trump's tariffs come into full effect. In an interview with Sky's Wilfred Frost, Ms Nandy was asked if she feared a global recession could be on the horizon. She responded: "Well, we don't think a trade war is in anyone's interests, and what we're doing is keeping a cool head, working with our allies." She went on to say the UK is "a trading nation" and emphasised "it's in our interest to continue to be able to trade".
