Dutch alternative commemoration: Unofficial Hague ceremony includes Gaza victims

While the Netherlands marked its official WWII Remembrance Day in Amsterdam, an alternative and unofficial ceremony took place in The Hague. The event honoured victims of what participants called Israel’s genocide in Gaza, highlighting ongoing global solidarity with Palestinians. The alternative gathering drew activists, Dutch citizens, and members of the Palestinian diaspora.
