European leaders join Ukraine in calling for unconditional 30-day ceasefire

Ukraine and its allies are ready for a “full, unconditional ceasefire” with Russia for at least 30 days, the Ukrainian foreign minister, Andrii Sybiha, has said. His remarks on Saturday came as the leaders of the UK, France, Germany and Poland visited Kyiv to push for Moscow to agree to a truce and launch peace talks to end the nearly three-year war.
