Footage shows holes visible in Azerbaijan Airlines wreckage

Footage from social media showed visible holes in the wreckage of the Azerbaijan Airlines flight that crashed in Kazakhstan. Russia and Kazakhstan have sought to play down speculation about the crash, as sources in Azerbaijan connected to the investigation told Reuters the plane had been brought down by a Russian air defence system. The plane, which was flying from the Azerbaijani capital, Baku, to the Russian city of Grozny in Chechnya, came down in a field near Aktau in Kazakhstan after veering hundreds of miles off its planned route.
