Four Palestinian women—two of them heavily pregnant—were killed when shrapnel from an Iranian missile struck a hair salon in the town of Beit Awwa in the occupied West Bank. The women were preparing to celebrate Eid al-Fitr at the time of the attack. Thirteen others were wounded, two critically. The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that ambulance crews faced significant delays reaching the scene due to Israeli military gates, impacting the "golden hour" for life-saving treatment. The incident marked the first Palestinian fatalities in the West Bank since the start of the war. Al Jazeera’s Nida Ibrahim reports from Beit Awwa in the occupied West Bank.
