Arwa Damon, of the International Network for Relief and Assistance, says every child in Gaza has been affected by the war. “We also need to take into consideration that a study done by Save the Children prior to October 7 showed 80 percent of Gaza’s children – already at that point – suffered from depression and anxiety,” she said, speaking to Al Jazeera from Baalbek, Lebanon. “This war has been so intense and relentless that every single pillar of existence that is meant to provide stability for a child has been shattered,” she said.
