Gaza hunger crisis: Blockade starves children as Israeli gunfire kills food-seeking civilians

Simultaneously, Israeli forces continue targeting Palestinians near aid distribution sites, killing over 580 people in just one month while they sought food. Recent attacks near Rafah claimed five more lives, as the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation warns of collapsing aid efforts. Health officials describe catastrophic malnutrition rates, with infants and children bearing the brunt. The dual crises—starvation and lethal attacks on civilians accessing aid—highlight unprecedented humanitarian collapse. Survivors report deliberate obstruction of food and medical supplies.
