Disney-owned ABC has been widely criticised after it pulled the long-standing host of Jimmy Kimmel Live following comments in his show about the alleged gunman charged with right-wing activist Charlie Kirk's murder. Comedian and writer Graham Linehan says "I certainly don't think the Trump administration should be influencing decisions made by TV companies, that's definitely not on." Graham Linehan was recently arrested by armed police at Heathrow, following social media posts about trans people. He says he had no anticipation that he would be arrested when he landed. "I was surprised when they actually arrested me, I didn't think that was going to happen. Especially for tweets that were mostly harmless: one which was good safe-guarding advice for any woman and two, silly things that I just kind of conversationally threw online one day."
