Hamas releases American-Israeli hostage Edan Alexander from Gaza

Hamas has released Edan Alexander an American-Israeli hostage held in Gaza, who was taken captive while serving in the Israeli army during Hamas's attack on 7 October. Edan is the last living American hostage and was released after direct negotiations between the US and the Palestinian armed group.
