Kamala Harris set out what was called her "closing argument" in her case to be the next president. But the campaign dealt with a setback as current president Joe Biden caused controversy by making a comment calling Donald Trump supporters "garbage". Ms Harris sought to distance herself from the comments, saying she would govern for all if she won the Presidency.
