Inquiry into infected blood scandal urges 'faster and fairer' compensation

Compensation for thousands of victims of the infected blood scandal must be paid more quickly and fairly, according to the latest report from the inquiry into what happened. In the 1970s and 1980s, more than 30,000 people in the UK were infected with HIV and hepatitis C after being given contaminated blood products.
