Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian met with Qatar’s Emir Shiekh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, a day after Tehran's missile strike on Israel. The Qatari Emir expressed concerns about escalating tensions in Lebanon and reiterated Qatar’s commitment to ceasefire talks in Gaza. President Pezeshkian stated Iran does not seek war but warned of a "wider and harsher" response if Israel attacks again, referencing the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran. Pezeshkian also highlighted that Iran was urged to show restraint to allow room for negotiations. Qatar has been mediating ceasefire talks between Israel and Hamas.
