Iran has struck energy infrastructure across the Gulf, including in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, the UAE and Qatar, while closing the Strait of Hormuz. Fujairah’s oil zone and Omani fuel tanks were hit, and a missile damaged Ras Laffan, with repairs expected to take up to five years. Israel targeted oil depots and the South Pars field shared with Qatar. With 85% of Iran’s electricity from gas, prices have surged amid fears of a global energy crisis.
