Iran has warned that an attack by the US would bring hell to the Middle East. In an interview with the BBC the country’s deputy foreign minister Saeed Khatibzadeh warned President Trump against involvement in a war that was "not his war". The White House said Donald Trump will decide in the next two weeks whether the US will become directly involved in the Iran-Israel conflict. It said he still believed there is a "substantial chance of negotiations”. Israel has attacked Iran’s nuclear sites and other targets leading to a state of war between the two countries. Iran has responded by firing thousands of missiles at Israel. The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said his war aim is to prevent Iran building a nuclear weapon. Iran insists its nuclear programme is peaceful and solely intended to produce nuclear energy.
