We start with US president-elect Donald Trump, now less than two weeks away from his inauguration, but already causing concern among America's allies. During his latest press conference in Florida, he talked about expanding US territory in a way that would fundamentally redraw the map of the Western Hemisphere. He said he wanted to rename the "Gulf of Mexico" as the "Gulf of America". He once again talked about reclaiming the Panama Canal. And then the suggestions of making Canada the 51st US state... and getting Denmark to hand over Greenland. Trump first floated the idea of buying the arctic island back in 2019 during his first term.
