Israel orders swift demolition of Lebanese homes in front-line villages

Israel is sending more troops to support its ground invasion in southern Lebanon. Defence minister Israel Katz says he's instructed the military to speed up the demolition of Lebanese homes in the south, to end what he called “threats to Israel”. Air strikes targeted several houses and commercial shops in the southern Lebanese district of Tyre. More than a thousand people have been killed in Lebanon and more than a million displaced since conflict reignited earlier this month.
