Israel targets alleged Hezbollah drone facilities in Lebanon | DW News

Israel has conducted airstrikes in southern Beirut, marking the first such attack on the Lebanese capital in over a month. According to Israeli authorities, the strikes targeted underground facilities allegedly used by the militant group Hezbollah for drone production. The assault came roughly an hour after an evacuation order was issued for the area, with several buildings reportedly hit in the capital’s southern suburbs. The strikes took place on the eve of the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Adha.
