Watch as US Vice President JD Vance departs Joint Base Andrews on Air Force Two as he heads to Israel. Benjamin Netanyahu has met today with Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, a spokesperson for the Israeli government says. Shosh Bedrosian said the trio "discussed developments and updates in the region". Donald Trump's special envoy and son-in-law are in Israel in light of events in Gaza yesterday, when IDF airstrikes temporarily resumed in the enclave after earlier allegations that Hamas had violated the US-brokered ceasefire.
