Johnson pledges 'simple' travel rules amid criticism of amber watchlist

Boris Johnson said he wants to see travel rules that are 'as simple and user friendly as possible' but that it is vital to take a balanced approach to avoid importing new coronavirus variants from abroad. Speaking in Stevenage, the prime minister did not rule out an amber watchlist but said he would like 'an approach that is as simple as we can possibly make it'.
