'Justice has been done’, says woman who was paralysed by her partner

A man who left his partner paralysed in a brutal attack after she told him she was leaving him has been jailed for 16 years. Speaking after the sentencing, Trudi Burgess thanked the justice system for bringing her justice and "some level of peace and closure".
