Lahaina's cherished banyan tree shows signs of life after deadly Hawaii fires

Lahaina's cherished banyan tree is showing the first signs of new growth after deadly wildfires torched much of Hawaii in August. Footage showed small shoots of green leaves on the tree after it was burnt and left charcoal black following the fires.
