A lawyer representing the British families who have loved ones held hostage in Gaza has criticised Sir Keir Starmer's threat to recognise a Palestinian state. Adam Rose told Sophy Ridge the British government's first priority should be forcing Hamas to release the remaining hostages. The prime minister said on Tuesday the UK would recognise Palestine in September if Israel did not halt its military campaign.
