Minister gives Ofcom full backing to use powers to ban X in UK

Technology secretary Liz Kendall says the images being produced by Grok is 'despicable and abhorrent', following complaints of the AI tool creating images that sexualises women and children. "Sexualising images of children is one of the worst crime imaginable and I think it's insulting to say, that you can still access this service if you pay for it," says minister. She urges Ofcom to use "the full powers of the law that Parliament has given it."
