A man has died after being shot by federal agents in Minneapolis. The Department of Homeland Security says the man approached the officers carrying a firearm -- and resisted being disarmed. The incident comes less than three weeks after the fatal shooting of Renee Good, which sparked protests across the city. Thousands of Immigration and Customs Enforcement -- or ICE -- agents have been deployed to the city as President Donald Trump intensifies his nationwide campaign to deport immigrants. Minneapolis authorities later held a press conference in which mayor Jacob Frey said he had requested assistance from the national guard to help support the city police force as it tries to keep the peace. 00:00 Minneapolis: Man dies after being shot by federal agents 03:36 Jacob Frey, Minneapolis Mayor 03:56 Ethan Bearman, Adjunct professor at Loyola Law School For more news go to: http://www.dw.com/en/ Follow DW on social media: ►Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/dwnews ►TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@dwnews ►Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/deutschewellenews/ ►Twitter: https://twitter.com/dwnews Für Videos in deutscher Sprache besuchen Sie: https://www.youtube.com/dwdeutsch Subscribe: https://www.youtube.com/user/deutschewelleenglish?sub_confirmation=1 #Minneapolis #ICE #Trump
