Myanmar's military rulers have declared a temporary ceasefire in the civil war to assist earthquake relief efforts. State television are reporting that junta chief Min Aung Hlaing has ordered a halt to the fighting until April 22nd. Several armed groups fighting the military had already unilaterally suspended hostilities during the quake recovery.
