Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan urged Muslim countries to unite around Iran's right to defend itself and criticized Israel for starting this war. The Turkish leader's statement came as foreign ministers from the Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC) met in Istanbul on Saturday to discuss the war between Israel and Iran. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi also attended the meeting and warned that any US intervention would be dangerous for all parties. On Friday, Araghchi met with his counterparts of the UK, France, Germany, and the EU in Geneva, where he insisted that Iran would not engage in dialogue on its nuclear enrichment program until Israel were to cease its strikes on Iran. The OIC is comprised of 57 states, 49 of which have a majority Muslim population. #oic #israeliranwar #turkey For more news go to: http://www.dw.com/en/ Follow DW on social media: ►Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/dwnews ►TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@dwnews ►Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/deutschewellenews/ ►Twitter: https://twitter.com/dwnews Für Videos in deutscher Sprache besuchen Sie: https://www.youtube.com/dwdeutsch Subscribe: https://www.youtube.com/user/deutschewelleenglish?sub_confirmation=1
