In Manipur, incessant rains have led to waterlogged streets and widespread chaos, forcing the evacuation of a local hospital. The mountainous state of Sikkim has seen deadly landslides, with three soldiers killed and others missing after an army camp was struck. In Assam's Kamrup district, over 400,000 people have been affected as floodwaters submerge homes and agricultural land. Residents describe the annual struggle of relocating during floods, highlighting the recurring nature of this crisis.
