Peru: Antigovernment Protests erupt in Lima on sidelines of APEC summit

Trade unions, students and transport workers in Peru have started a three-day strike against rising crime. It coincides with an international summit. Protesters rejected calls from the president to postpone the action - because it could harm the country's image. President Dina Boularte is asking protesters to postpone the strike urging them to not harm, the country's image. But Peruvians say that security is their top priority.
