The US says Israel has agreed to reschedule a canceled trip to Washington to discuss Israel's plans for a ground assault on the southern Gazan city of Rafah. Israel originally pulled out of the talks after the US decided not to veto a United Nations call for a cease-fire in Gaza. More than one million Gazans are currently sheltering in Rafah as Israel pursues its offensive against Hamas militants responsible for the October 7th terror attacks. Israeli airstrikes on the city overnight have raised fears that a ground offensive could soon begin. 2:47 Tania Krämer, DW Jerusalem correspondent 6:20 Marina Mirón, military analyst, King's College London #israel #rafah #gaza Subscribe: https://www.youtube.com/user/deutschewelleenglish?sub_confirmation=1 For more news go to: http://www.dw.com/en/ Follow DW on social media: ►Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/deutschewellenews/ ►Twitter: https://twitter.com/dwnews ►Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/dwnews ►Twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/dwnews_hangout Für Videos in deutscher Sprache besuchen Sie: https://www.youtube.com/dwdeutsch
