PM blasted over illegal migration as UK hosts border security summit

Shadow justice secretary Robert Jenrick says illegal migration is "out of control" and blamed the prime minister for scrapping the Conservatives' Rwanda policy. It comes as Sir Keir Starmer hosts a border security summit in London, with more than 40 countries meeting to discuss how to tackle people smuggling. Mr Jenrick said a strong deterrent was needed, adding: "It's open season.
