Prime minister Sir Keir Starmer was asked by the i newspaper if Britons should prepare for nuclear war. It comes after Vladimir Putin lowered the threshold for a nuclear strike, allowing Moscow to respond with nukes if it's attacked by any state using conventional weapons. The PM replied: "There's irresponsible rhetoric coming from Russia, and that's not going to deter our support for Ukraine."
