Zohran Mamdani spoke at a news conference today after his win in the New York mayoral election. Sky's US correspondent James Matthews asked him about what Mamdani thinks the lesson is from his victory last night for US President Donald Trump. Mamdani said it should be that it is not enough to simply "diagnose the crisis" facing working class Americans "you have to deliver". He further said the US president should take the blame for the current government shutdown, which is depriving many Americans in need of credits to make food cheaper.
