Since the release of its first chapter in 2021, Poppy Playtime has become one of the most talked‑about indie horror series in gaming - and its main antagonist, Huggy Wuggy, is now known globally. They prefer to watch creators stream the horror game. To understand the phenomenon from the inside out, we spoke to the team behind it all: Bryce Clarke, Director of Chapter 5, George Krstic, Senior Director of Creative Development, and voice actors Nicole Tompkins and Nized.
