Rachel Reeves's performance 'very, very poor', says shadow chancellor

Shadow chancellor Mel Stride told Sky News the Chancellor Rachel Reeves has a "huge challenge" ahead, and that her performance has as Chancellor has been "very, very poor". Mr Stride told Sky's Kay Burley that Labour have "talked the economy down" and have "taxed the living daylights out of businesses". When asked about the latest inflation figures that show a slight decline, Mr Stride say that this is "slightly better news", but that markets are "uneasy about the UK economy at the moment" because of !the decisions that Rachel Reeves has taken".
