Row breaks out between Tories and Reform UK over migrant hotels

A row has broken out between the Tories and Reform UK over comments previously made by Robert Jenrick about migrant hotels. At the centre of the argument is an interview Mr Jenrick did with Sky News in November 2022, one week after he was appointed immigration minister in Rishi Sunak's government. Almost three years later, this clip has been seized on by Reform UK as evidence that the Tory MP "boasted" about how many hotels he had opened for asylum seekers.
