Sir Brian Leveson has told Sky News the judicial system is in the worst state it has even been - and reform is urgently needed. The retired Court of Appeal judge was asked by the Lord Chancellor to review how to reduce the backlog in the courts. His solution - to cut jury trials for cases where a prison sentence was likely to be less than three years - has caused consternation in some areas.
