Sudan conflict: US sanctions RSF commanders over el-Fasher siege

The UN has warned of hallmarks of genocide by Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces, as the United States imposed new sanctions on RSF commanders at a Security Council meeting. Measures include asset freezes, arms embargoes and travel bans, with additional visa restrictions on another commander over gross human rights violations.
