The British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) ceremony is taking place in London, bringing together the biggest names in cinema. Stars from across the film industry are gathering at the Royal Festival Hall. Awards will be handed out for the best films and performances of the past year. The BAFTAs are often seen as one of the major indicators of which films will succeed at the Oscars. The Oscar-nominated film “The Voice of Hind Rajab” is one of the most talked-about movies at this year's British Film awards. It tells the true story of Hind Rajab, a Palestinian girl killed by Israeli forces in Gaza. The film uses real audio recordings from her emergency call to the Palestinian Red Crescent. Al Jazeera’s Milena Veselinovic is on the red carpet in London and spoke to one of the film's producer. Odessa Rae, producer of "The Voice of Hind Rajab”, sees the film as a tribute and a responsibility, giving Hind her voice back, placing her story in Gaza’s wider reality, and insisting that Gaza’s children are seen, heard, and remembered.
