Trump gives Elon Musk 'efficiency' role and Fox News host defence secretary job

The world's richest man has been given the role of improving the efficiency of government departments in Washington. Elon Musk will be tasked with what Donald Trump says is dismantling "government bureaucracy" and slim-lining government departments. Fox & Friends Weekend host Pete Hegseth will be in charge of the world's most powerful military. He is a former Army National Guard Major who once told Fox News viewers he hadn't washed his hands for 10 year, adding that he "inoculated" himself, and he didn't believe germs exist because "I can't see them, so therefore they are not real".
