Trump lauds ‘very powerful alternatives’ for ‘more tariffs’

Addressing the press at the White House, the US president expressed frustration with the court’s ruling and slammed justices who defied his calls to keep his sweeping tariffs in place, an apparent reference to conservative justices who joined with liberal justices to strike them down. “The Supreme Court’s ruling on tariffs is deeply disappointing, and I’m ashamed of certain members of the court, absolutely ashamed, for not having the courage to do what’s right for our country”, he said.
