Trump says Putin talking ‘a lot of b*******’, promises to send more weapons to Ukraine

US President Donald Trump has lashed out at his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin - saying he's frustrated with the growing death toll in Ukraine. Trump's attempts to end the war have been unsuccessful. On Monday, he announced the US will send more defensive weapons to Ukraine, reversing an earlier decision. “We get a lot of b******* thrown at us by Putin if you want to know the truth. He’s very nice all the time, but it turns out to be meaningless,” he told reporters during a cabinet meeting at the White House. Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says he's ordered his top military leaders to step up contact with the US, to expedite the delivery of military aid.
